"Pristine"

I want to share the story on this fine "SCOTTSBLUFF" arrowhead.
We locals here in East Texas know this scottsbluff by the name of "PRISTINE".
It was found by Randy Evans in Angelina County, Texas in the late 1980's.
A good friend of mine Mr. Doug Weeks purchased the point from Randy not long after he found it.
He later contacted Bill German, who personally carried the point up to Mr. Greg Perino in the early
1990's. Greg papered the point and said that it was one of the finest he had seen and said that it
was in "Pristine" condition. Thus giving it the name "Pristine" and has stuck with the point ever
since. It measures 2 7/8" long and is super thin and made of a translucent red rootbeer flint.
Doug has had "Pristine" in his collection for alot of years now and has never sold it. Several people
has tried to buy "Pristine" threw the yrs., but has come up empty handed.
Hope you enjoy the pictures, but I will say, "she is alot better in hand".
